Nalanda Open University Online Admission 2022: Applications are invited for NOU Addmmison 2022 from the year 2022 for receiving nominations in the following subject of a transitory letter from 5th July 2022 to 31st August 2020, except the day of online and offline enrollment.

Nalanda Open University (NOU) is one of the oldest and best quality education institutes in Bihar offering Under Graduation (UG), Post Graduation (PG), Certificate, Diploma, PG Diploma, Ph.D., BLIS, MLIS, and B.Ed programs, etc. provides. The admission process in NOU started on 5th July 2022 and will continue till 31st August 2022. Candidates who want to take admitted to this university can enroll online and offline mode before 31st August 2022.

NOU Admission 2022

NOU Admission 2022 offers BA, BA (Hons), B.Sc. (Hons), B.Com, BBA, B.Ed., BLIS, MA, and BCA programs at the PG level. The minimum requirement is a 10+2 in a related subject. A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized institution is also required for the B.LiB.I.Sc. 

All Under Graduation (UG) admission applicants must hold a 10+2 level education from any of the recognized State boards or Center boards.

सभी अंडर ग्रेजुएशन (यूजी) प्रवेश के लिए आवेदकों को किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त राज्य बोर्ड या केंद्र बोर्ड से 10 + 2 स्तर की शिक्षा प्राप्त करनी चाहिए।

NOU UG Admission  Program

• B A: The Bachelor of Arts program at Nalanda Open University is One of the most popular courses. Several specializations are available. Admissions to the BA program will open for sessions 2022-25. Students must have completed intermediate classes in any stream to fill out the NOU BA application form. Registration fees must be paid to secure admission. NOU charges Rs 3600 for a BA course.

• B.Sc: The Bachelor of Arts program at Nalanda Open University is One of the most popular courses. Several specializations are available. Admissions to the B.Sc program will open for sessions 2022-25. Students must have completed intermediate classes in the Science stream to fill out the NOU B.Sc application form. Registration fees must be paid to secure admission. NOU charges Rs 3600 for Per Year B.Sc course.

• BLIS: Bachelor of Library and Information Science is a 1-year Program undergraduate level program offered by (NOU) Nalanda Open University. For admission to this course, students are required to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any well-known institute which is approved by UGC.
• बीएलआईएस: बैचलर ऑफ लाइब्रेरी एंड इंफॉर्मेशन साइंस (एनओयू) नालंदा ओपन यूनिवर्सिटी द्वारा प्रस्तुत स्नातक स्तर के कार्यक्रम के तहत 1 साल का कार्यक्रम है। इस कोर्स में प्रवेश के लिए छात्रों के पास यूजीसी द्वारा स्वीकृत किसी भी प्रसिद्ध संस्थान से किसी भी विषय में स्नातक की डिग्री होना आवश्यक है।

Nalanda Open University Online Admission Procedure

• Online registration details are available on the University website www.nalandaopenuniversity.com & www.nou.ac.in

• Candidates seeking online admission to various courses of Nalanda Open University are required to first register online.

• Kindly download the instructions for ready reference and follow the guidelines during the online filling of the application form.

• On the landing page (the webpage which opens after you click on the Admission link) please click on the “New Admission” button.

• For New Applicant click on the blue button indicating “New Applicant? Create a New Account”.

• All information in the “New Candidate – Registration” IS COMPULSORY and will have to be filled up.

• The password of the candidate will have to be entered by the candidate as per the following rules:

1. (a) Password should be a minimum of 6 characters and a maximum of 13 characters i.e. it should be between 6 and 13 characters
2. (b) There should be at least one UPPER CASE
3. (c) There should be at least one LOWER CASE
4. (d) There should be at least one NUMBER
5. (e) There should be at least one SPECIAL CHARACTER (!;@;#;$:%)
6. (f) Example of Password – “Shukla@2020”

• After filling up the form and clicking on the “Register” button the candidate will receive an email and SMS with all the credentials for login:

1. (a) User Name – Which will be also the Application Number
2. (b) Password, and
3. (c) OTP

• The candidate will also be taken to OTP Page where the Candidate will have to enter the OTP.

• After entering OTP the candidate will be taken to the main Application Form.

• Please remember your APPLICATION NUMBER & PASSWORD. These will be required for login to the Application Portal. If you forget the same can be obtained from the email and SMS received by the candidate.

• All (*) marked fields on the main application form are compulsory. The Compulsory Information will have to be filled out before the Final Submission.

• Candidates can save the form in draft mode and can log in again for completing and submitting it.
• For submission of the form, filling up Captcha is a must.

• The applicant shall choose the Course in which she/he wishes to apply based on the eligibility. The applicant is advised to check the eligibility of the Courses before making a choice.

• Candidates can take admission in only one course. There is no provision for applying to multiple courses.

• While filling up the form it is suggested to scan clearly the following documents as per the size given below:

1. (a) Candidate’s Passport size photograph – Size Max 100 KB
2. (b) Candidate’s Signature (In English) – Size Max 50 KB
3. (c) Candidate’s Signature (In Hindi) – Size Max 50 KB
4. d) Copy of Mark Sheets – Size Max 100 KB

• In the mandatory upload section, the applicant has to upload a clear scanned document of the following:

1. (a) Passport-size photograph of the applicant.
2. (b) Scanned signature of the applicant – English & Hindi
3. (c) Clear copy of the scan qualifying examination Marksheet from the Original, is to be uploaded. (Clearly scan your original Marksheet for uploading. Scan of xerox/photocopy of Marksheet will not be accepted).
